I honestly have no idea where this last week went, but all I can say is that summer is ending too quickly and that even though I have enjoyed it, I still can’t believe I haven’t gotten a chance to do all the things I wanted to do. I think a big part of it was that there were a number of weeks where it was REALLY hot and humid so when the conditions are like that, you kind of just want to be lazy and not do too many house things.
Way back in early Spring, Pixi was in Vancouver for an event and we all got the opportunity to take home the Pixi Aftersun Soothing Infusion Sheet Mask while looking forward to summer, which seemed eons away in March!
What makes this mask special? This biodegradable microfibre mask contains niacinamide, hydrating mushroom extract, soothing allantoin, aloe, cica, cucumber and chamomile extracts, brightening ascorbic acid and ceramides. As an added bonus, this mask is PRINTED!
This mask did not have a lot of extra essence in the package so I will try to use up my pack of three this year so they don’t dry out. The mask itself was quite thin, but it did not soak up a lot of the essence in the package so 15 minutes is really the longest you can leave it on before it starts to get dry.
Mask Summary:
Price: Box of 3 for $16 CDN
What it does: Soothes, cools and calms skin
Scent: None
Essence Type: Clear, lightly viscous
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Thin
Mask Fit: Fairly well with some excess bits on the side of the face
Tackiness: None
Hydration: Light, so you will need a bit of moisturizer if you are dry, but in this humid summer weather, this was perfect!
Other notes: Pixi print was fun to wear!
Final verdict: I loved this mask! The print was fun and I liked the lack of tackiness and how refreshed my skin felt afterwards!
