Today is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Though it is a holiday here in BC and work is operating on holiday hours, I will be working a completely normal day from 9-6pm as we have a brand visit and Loss Prevention audit happening. They were scheduled by different countries/provinces that were not aware of Truth and Reconciliation Day hence what would normally have been a very chill day is now going to be a super packed “ON” day for me and the other manager!
It has actually still been pretty busy for me and will probably remain that way until next week so for today you will see some fairly mundane nails as I have been very tired. I feel like I say that all the time and I feel like I have been tired for what feels like years and I don’t even have kids so I don’t know how all of you parents handle work plus family fatigue!

What I love about this year’s Dior Fall nail polish collection is that though there are some typical vampy Fall shades, there is also a shade like THIS one, “Blue Star”, that is almost more Spring with its light blue with a hint of purple shimmer. For me, the purple shimmer is what makes this polish interesting and reminds me a lot more of an indie polish vs. a designer polish. I am wearing two coats here and though I ended up eventually covering this blue for nail art, I loved having a relatively unique nail polish shade on my nails.
