This is my first week where I have some breathing room and time to catch up on things at work. I had today off after working Sunday (normally we are closed) for the most dreaded retail event of all time – INVENTORY! We decided that we would start at 8am and power through and we were mostly done around 12pm. The other manager and I stayed until 2pm as we were still looking into some discrepancies, but we were able to sort them out and all in all our Inventory was near perfect!

As I have been quite busy the last week, I did not have time to prepare a Halloween manicure ahead of time though I had something else planned until I broke my pinky nail just before I was about to sit down and paint! I will have to wait for them to grow back a little bit before I attempt what I was planning on doing so for today, I still have Halloween-themed nails, but they are just more straightforward than expected!
Let’s start off by saying I do NOT like this glitter. It’s VERY liquidy and even with sponging, the glitter bits were inconsistent and hard to get even. It was either very concentrated with the sponge, which I didn’t quite want, or very sparse with just using the brush. As my husband commented, this manicure “looks like an afterthought” as opposed to something I thought out, but oh well.
