Halloween is only a week away (October 31st) and we chose three sweet perfumes that remind us of candy or rich, delicious desserts. Because what’s Halloween without olfactive treats?

Prada Candy (Daniela Andrier) 2011: Is there a better name for a Halloween perfume than “candy”? Prada Candy made our sweet perfumes for Halloween list, because it is pure scented pleasure. Michelyn bought her first bottle in late 2011 and it smells as scrumptious as it did 13 years ago (there are quite a few niche perfumes that have been influenced or copied, not naming names) by this great iconic perfume that has an overdose of benzoin and with notes of vanilla, musk, honey and caramel. –Michelyn
Roja Parfums Sweetie Aoud (Roja Dove) 2015: On October 22, 2018, I met Roja Dove at Bergdorf Goodman. After our discussion, I browsed the counter and noticed Sweetie Aoud. When I sprayed on Roja Dove’s twist on an oud gourmand perfume with its macaron accord and delicious buttery tone, I wanted to lick my wrist. –Michelyn
Parfums de Marly Oriana (Nathalie Lorson and Hamid Merati-Kashan) 2021: If you think sweet perfumes are for teens, you need to try sophisticated Oriana. This will be my fragrance for Halloween. Chantilly cream, which at the time of its 2021 release, according to Master Perfumer Nathalie Lorson, was combined with marshmallow for the first time. The Whipped Chantilly cream and marshmallow set off the finest quality orange blossom. The soft musk and ambrette at the base give Oriana power and longevity. If you love sweet perfumes that are grown-up and sensuous, go Oriana is for you. –Michelyn
