Well, Happy Sunday! I just did my 5 days in a row and again, I don’t know how those of you work M-F without wanting to collapse at the end of the week! I have to work pretty early tomorrow so I’m going to do my best to get as much done today as possible and have an early night like a proper grown up LOL. I have been slacking a little bit on the sheet masking as I have just been too tired to make note of what has been happening on my face!Â
While I was in Paris, I thought I would do more retail damage than $75 of sheet masks, but truly that was it! I was so busy with Chaumet that I didn’t really get a chance to do a lot of shopping which was probably a good thing! The sheet masks I did pick up were ones that I had never seen before in Canada so I felt they were justified purchases one of which was from the very well known skincare brand Eucerin!
What makes this mask special? In terms of ingredients, this mask is pretty simple with the featured ingredient being hyaluronic acid which is in the top half of the list. It’s also a biocellulose mask which is always fun and extra hydrating and soothing for the skin!
There was not much essence leftover in the sachet and the mask dried out pretty fast so leaving it on for 20 minutes was about the most it could handle!
Mask Summary:
Price: I think it was about 5Â Euros?
What it does: Reduces fines lines and refreshes skin Â
Scent: Smells like mom’s Pond’s cold cream! It’s a good scent!
Essence Type: Clear, slightly viscous
Duration: 20 minutes
Thickness: Thin like standard biocellulose masks
Mask Fit: Pretty good, but most biocellulose masks fit well due to the nature of the material
Tackiness: None
Hydration: Not bad, but I needed to put a bit more moisturizer on top
Other notes: Nice big moustache piece was really nice as I hate it when these masks are thin and then have thin moustache pieces that tear easily!
Final verdict: Compared to the Korean biocellulose masks for similar pricing, this mask was just okay. I liked that the mask was very simple in terms of ingredients and sort of “got down to business” when it came to what it needed to do, but I didn’t like that there was not a lot of essence leftover and that the mask dried out fairly quickly. Most biocellulose masks can last upwards of 30 minutes to an hour without drying out so this was a little bit disappointing. Nonetheless, it did not have any tackiness which I always appreciate.
You can find the Eucerin Hyaluron Filler Mask at probably most drugstores in Europe, but I am not 100% on that!
