Purchased by me
We are going back into the archives here with this Creme Shop mask as I have been a bit lazy on the sheet masking front this past week. When I want to review a new sheet mask for all of you, I try my best to write down all of my observations while the mask is on and then immediately after I remove it. All of that takes some mental effort and isn’t quite as relaxing as just enjoying the sheet mask for what it is, but I am hoping the rest of this month will be a bit better in terms of enjoying my beauty products!
What makes this mask special? This mask contains brightening beta-glucan, soothing rosewater and cica, violet oil to improve skin texture and of course, hyaluronic acid. Unfortunately, no fun print for this mask! The position of the ingredients in the list is OK, not fantastic, but for your money’s worth not bad.
I hope one day The Creme Shope tweaks the shape of their masks a little because it’s probably the worst thing about their masks. I always look so sad when I wear them and they tend to be quite wrinkly on me.
Mask Summary:
Price: $7.99 CDN/Box of 3 from Winners
What it does: Soothes, hydrates and plumps the skin
Scent: Roses
Essence Type: Clear and slightly viscous
Duration: Typically should be 10-15 minutes. I did 20 minutes and the mask was on the drier side
Thickness: Medium
Mask Fit: Really long “moustache” area and wide bottom half of mask
Tackiness: Zero
Hydration: Needed moisturizer
Other notes: N/A
Final verdict: Not my favourite mask from TCS, but not the worst mask I have used either. They have other ones that are both more fun and hydrating, BUT what I will say is that if you don’t like any tackiness on your skin, this mask definitely allows you to layer and hydrate with something more intensive like an oil.
